Job Summary

The Business Development Representative will proactively seek out and qualify new business opportunities to drive growth for our company. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential clients and create effective strategies for engaging with them. Your ultimate goal and success will be measured by your ability to help increase revenue and drive growth for our company. We're looking for someone who thrives on competition and is motivated to exceed monthly and quarterly quotas to contribute to the continuing success of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential clients in the ERP software market.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and developments to inform business development strategies.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on the effectiveness of different strategies and tactics.
  • Reach out to potential clients through various channels, networking, cold-calling, and online research to generate leads.
  • Personalize outreach based on the account and contact’s unique interests to improve engagement rates and boost the number of meetings scheduled.
  • Qualify leads and set up meetings for the sales team.
  • Potential to attend industry events and conferences to network and identify potential clients.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective strategies for engaging with potential clients.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and opportunity creation.
  • Understand and communicate our software products' features and benefits to prospective clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, customer service, and sales, preferably in the software industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proven ability to identify and engage with potential clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of CRM software, ERP software, and/or technology sales is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about exceeding expectations and achieving goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the company.

This is a full-time position with a competitive base and variable salary and benefits package. You will work directly with our Vice President of Sales and Marketing and benefit from experience and past success in meeting targets and growing our business.
