Employee Mass Update Utility

The defaults assigned to your Employees may require updates from time to time. For example, when a supervisor or department changes. The Employee Mass Update Utility allows those responsible for the maintenance of Employees to quickly roll out these changes.

From within the Employee Master (Human Resources | Human Resources | Employees), click on the mass update icon. 

Click Next.

The first time running the Utility run it as Report Only.  If there are only specific Employees that need the update tag those records first, then proceed with the utility.  If you are updating ALL the employees set it to All In Range.  Click Next.

Check the option(s) to update. Then click the lookup box to make the appropriate selection. In this example, we are updating the Supervisor for 2 specific employees.

Save and name the parameter set. Click Process.

A report will be returned showing all the changes the system will make based on the selections made.  If it is as you expect then go back in the saved parameter and change the options to Report and Execute.

The report will be generated showing all the changes made.  Employee records will be updated.
