ERP Go Live: Final Steps and Lessons from the INDUSTRIOS Project Roadmap

Last time, we focused on empowering your users, core team training, workflow confirmation, and end user instruction. With those pieces in place, it’s time to bring your ERP project to life and build momentum for future improvements.

In this final chapter, we’ll walk through what happens as you reach “ERP go live”, get real support when you need it most, and reflect on everything your business has accomplished.

Quick Recap: From Planning to People

Up until now, you’ve set project goals, reviewed your starting point, configured your INDUSTRIOS ERP, migrated clean data, measured progress, and prepared every user for success with practical training and workflow drills. Every step has built toward one clear outcome, making ERP effective in real business life.

INDUSTRIOS Project Roadmap: Final Stepping Stones Ten to Twelve (Continuing From Our Last Blog Post)

Step 10: Reaching Go Live Milestone

This is where your ERP project truly “goes live.” All your careful prep comes together here:

  • Opening balances are entered or imported.
  • Master files and security are checked and double-checked.
  • Core processes are reviewed so nothing critical is missed.

With the INDUSTRIOS team right there, users get personal support as they perform daily tasks using new workflows and instructions. If your company is larger or has more complex processes, the support may extend past the first week, sometimes covering first payrolls or month-ends.

Edward Szukalo puts it simply: “Our job is to make sure your people feel comfortable, not left out on their own.”

Step 11: Supporting the Journey

Even the best plan won’t predict every twist. That’s why INDUSTRIOS experts stay on-site after going live, working side-by-side with your team during the first crucial days. You get quick answers to “how do I…?” questions and advice on handling anything unexpected, big or small. Support covers daily operations, troubleshooting, and system adjustments as you start to handle real transactions. “We stick around for your first big hurdles, so your team gains real confidence from the start,” Edward adds.

Step 12: Reflecting on the Journey

After the dust settles, real project closure comes from a candid review:

  • Did you achieve the original goals?
  • What went well?
  • What needs more attention or another round of training?

The team looks at key performance metrics, listens to user feedback, and makes a new action plan for any gaps. Wins get acknowledged (and celebrated). Shortcomings aren’t swept under the rug; instead, they get turned into actionable items for future improvements. Edward’s final thought is spot on: “Reflection is how you lock in progress. The real wins are in what you learn, not just what you finish.”

That’s a Wrap on Our 12 Stepping Stones to ERP Success Series

With ERP go live, your project comes full circle. Think back on everything this INDUSTRIOS series has covered:

  • Clarifying your “why,” aligning your team, and building a grounded project plan
