The Waiting for Inventory Workbench was introduced to the Material Request module in  Build Z0321.6480.  It provides centralized and actionable visibility to the material  requests that were left short.

Details available on the Waiting for Inventory Workbench include the Request Quantity Details, Waiting for Inventory Owner and Status. You can tailor the various reasons for waiting in your operation with the Waiting Status Master File.

If the material is no longer needed, the Material Request can be canceled from this screen. The Waiting for Inventory Status and Owner can also be updated via icons on the toolbar.
